The Day Before Christmas

We pray today: “O radiant Dawn, splendor of eternal light, sun of justice: come and shine on those who dwell in darkness and in the shadow of death.” Lord bring your saving light of love to our hearts.

Our Eyes Opened

Lord your prophet Isaiah shows us your love through creation.  Help us to keep our eyes of faith open that we may see the wonders of your love and be prepared to celebrate Christmas with joy.

God's work in Creation

Today Lord you show us through your prophet Isaiah that you sustain us with your creation.  It is from your creation that we can see how you are gracious and merciful.  Help us to continue to be good stewards of your handiwork.  Let that which sustains us in this life prepare us for the life to come.

We can see in the light.

Lord you promise through your prophet Isaiah that the eyes of the blind shall see.  Lord, have pity on us.  We believe in you and know you can cure our spiritual blindness that we may see the world as you see the world.
